also do any of ya'll have names that you used to love and have met ppl who have that name and now you associate that name with them and maybe they have done something spiteful to you or they have a terrible personality? or have you ever disliked a name then suddenly one day you just started loving it?

Jennifer used to be a name i liked, until an ex of mine dated a girl named Jennifer lol.
same with Brittany, i used to like it but then i met a girl named Brittany who had a terrible personality.

i guess if i ever disliked a name b4 and now love it, that'd have to be Elisabeth. when i was growing up i knew a girl named Elizabeth and i didn't really like her much, so i associated the name with her, but now i absolutely adore the name!

I had a friend named Laura in high school, I don't hate her or anything but I suddenly find myself loving the name for some reason.

I used to like the names Melissa, Jessica and Felicia until I met a sibset with those names. We're all friends so I don't dislike the names because of them, I just stopped liking them I guess. I also loved Jennifer until my best friend was Jennifer.

I hate the names Rose and Tawny because of associations with it.

I hate the names Jade, Ken, and Jacob/Jake because all the ones I've known (and I've known at least two of each) have been totally mean or just rude.

I also think that all Andrew's are crazy, but I don't hate that name.

I used to love Lily (to keep up a tradition of using L names in my family) and Sophie for a great-great grandma, but since they've been so popular lately I can't stand them. I still love Jack which would be for a grandpa, but I am saddened to see it so popular as well.

One I used to dislike and now am starting to love is Anna, another is Laura.

Brent.
I first loved it when I worked at a daycare and there was a little boy there named Brent and he was super cute and intelligent and awesome.

Then at my next job this old nasty guy named Brent basically tried to feel me up in the back room of that job.

So now I can't stand the name Brent.

My freshman roommate had a friend named Anastasia who was whiny and needy. I used to LOVE the name until I met her.
