I've had my names pretty much picked out for over a year (even though I won't be having kids for several more years). I want four or five kids, so I have three names picked out for each gender. The only one I'm not set on, though, is the girls' name in the #3 slot.

I have:


1. Julianna Lillian (Jules)
2. Olivia Rose (Liv) [I'm actually not a huge fan of this mn anymore. My mn choices are all after people and the friend who shares this mn and I have been growing apart rapidly; it's losing this sentimental value to me, so I probably won't end up using it.]

1. Charles Michael (Charlie)
2. Luke Atticus
3. Liam Brian


The girls' names I'm currently throwing around are:

Amelia Eleanor or Miranda Eleanor.

The mn is pretty much set (at least for the moment) - in honor of Eleanor Roosevelt, one of my favorite people in history. I might also want to use the mn Cady (Elizabeth Cady Stanton), but I'm pretty sure I like Eleanor the best. Anyway, which do you like? I'd probably use the nn Mia for whichever one I ended up using.

Both are quite nice. I prefer Amelia to Miranda, but I'm not so happy with how popular Amelia seems to be getting, so Miranda might have some sway.

I like all the other names, but Julianna Lillian has the "lian" sound in both names - it sounds a bit repetitive. And Liam and Brian also sound a bit too similar to be combo. I would mix the names up a bit differently, but in general, I like :)

I used to think the same about Julianna Lillian, but it grew on me, and I'm not really concerned about that. Lillian is after my best friend (her mn is Lil) and I'd rather use something that has meaning than use something just because it sounds good.

I used to prefer Amelia, but then I started liking Miranda better...and now I'm not sure. It's a good thing I'm not going to have kids for a while and that chances are I won't get to the third girls' name - I'll probably end up having all boys or something :).

I love Amelia Eleanor :) Very nice! and the nickname mia is great :) I love your boys names. As for Olivia... do you like Olivia Renee.

Renee is OK, but it's my mom's mn and I really don't want to use it for that reason. Besides, all my other mn choices are after something/something and I want to keep that pattern.

1. Julianna Lillian (Jules) - Too many L and N sounds to be paired together, but nice names separately.
2. Olivia Rose (Liv) - I'm not a fan of Olivia due to its popularity. And Rose is a filler name to me. But if it has meaning, I like it.
3. Amelia Eleanor - Nice :)
4. Miranda Eleanor - Not crazy about Miranda, but it's an okay combo.

I like Julianna & even though I like Lillian too, I could take it or leave it as far as the pairing.
I love Olivia but hate the popularity. and also, a couple of people on my pregnancy/baby boards recently named their daughters Olivia Rose. weird.
I am personally partial to Amelia as it's my daughter's name and Eleanor is also one of my tops now for a future baby girl (and my husband actually said he likes it!) but I have been liking Miranda too a bit and Cadence which could nn Cady...

I love the name Liv/Livvy. livia is too popular, i'm loving Lavinia though.
