re-do of my list
Jul. 20th, 2006 03:36 pmSo to remind everyone, i'm not having kids for a few years, but my boyfriend and i love talking about names. I'm 22 and i love sort-of different names. We're not big on middle names because he doens't have one, but i have a few ideas.
Girls:
Autumn Christyna (spelling after my best friend)
Layla
Mandalyn (leave the name alone please, i've liked it for years now)
Serenity
Boys:
Liam Michael
Owen Michael
Nathanial Jordon
Jordon
Benji (newly added because my boyfriend liked it and i think it's cuuute and he can grow with it by going by Ben if he needs to)
any other ideas more than welcome.

Date: 2006-07-20 08:21 pm (UTC)I love Liam, Owen and Nathanial.
Benji is a dog's name unless the person is Benjamin. Then it is great!

Date: 2006-07-20 08:22 pm (UTC)Autumn and Layla are okay. I surprisingly like Mandalyn. Christyna is awful but it doesn't sound like you can be swayed.
Your boys names are all acceptable, though a little too common for my taste.

Date: 2006-07-20 08:37 pm (UTC)Mandalyn is so bad it's impossible to ignore, even if you tell people they're not allowed to comment on it. What's the point of posting it then?

Date: 2006-07-22 10:20 pm (UTC)Those are my three fave boy names! Haha.
Benji is the name of my favorite dancer on the new season of the show So You Think You Can Dance (dance competition in the US) and while watching it with my boyfriend, he said it sounded really cute. And he just informed me he loves Dimitry (another dancer only he spells it traditional Russian, "Dmitry") it ties into my heritage (my mother's family is Russian).

Date: 2006-07-22 10:22 pm (UTC)Well thanks, all my friends like Mandalyn too! ANd Yes, Christyna isn't great, but i really want to honour my best friend since 3rd grade and that's how her parents spelled it. Besides, at least she'll have to correct it less since it will be a middle name.
