I have never been one to like made up names, or names that even sound made up, but while trying out name combos, I accidently said "Olivianna," and it has seriously gown on me.

1- Does it appeal to you at all?

2- Do you pronounce Olivia names starting with an "oh" or an "uh"?

3- What, if anything, does the name Olivianna remind you of?

4- Is Olivianne better/worse than -annA?

1) A little bit, yeah. I love Olivia and Anna, so... it works. In a way. Not that I would use it, but it's pretty in a unique, never-heard-of-it-before kind of way.

2) Usually I say "uh" because I'm just used to saying it fast. But "oh" sounds just as good.

3) Nothing, really.

4) I like anna much better than anne.

I really like it as long as it's more like Oliviana and not Olivie-anna if that makes sense

I pronounce them with an "uh" although I guess that's technically not right. That's how they say Olivia on SVU too...LOL

It doesn't remind me of anything.

And I definitely think the anna is better than the anne

1-A little. It's one of the better 'made up' names I've heard.

2-I say "OH-liv-ee-uh."

3-Well...the first place I remember ever hearing the name Olivia was in The Great Mouse Detective. So I guess, since it reminds me of Olivia, then...it indirectly reminds me of that movie and the cute little girl mouse. xD

4-Olivianna is better than Olivianne.

1. No. It looks like someone tried to make one of my favorite names "unique" and failed miserably.

2. Oh-liv-ee-uh

3. Can't think of anything.

4. Both are horrid, but if you use either, I'd go with Olivianna.

1. No, but I don't like Olivia. I generally like most -anna names though
2. If I'm speaking quickly, it's "uh", but otherwise it's more like... "ol-ivia" more than a long "oh"
3. Liver, but again, because "olivia" reminds me of liver, and that's why I don't like it.
4. Worse

Im gonna be honest here...it seems made up. Like someone tried to make the name more interesting...it doesn't work for me :(

awh-live-ee-uh. and i like oliviana better, so the ana sounds like end of "sauna" and not "anna." it would be ok for a name, but it doesnt change the fact (for me) that the name is still in the top 5.

I don't like it at all. It's so obviously made up and I really dislike it when people take a perfectly good name and try to make it "unique" by adding -ana (in this case -anna) or -lyn to the end.

I pronounce Olivia with an Oh sound. Olivianna sounds pretty, but it's nothing I'd ever use because of how popular Olivia is. Unfortunately it just sounds like you're trying to make Olivia yuneek and special. Also, it kind of reminded me of Pollyanna :/

i like it and have no problem with it. i agree with someone that i like the look and sound of oliviana better, though. it's not something i'd use, but i think it's really pretty. you know you're in trouble when you're doing things like nevaeh and jadalyn.... i'm convinced there is an art to naming and creating names. oliviana/olivianna falls under well done. yeah, it might be popular to all of you, but try to appreciate it for the beauty of it. it's no different than julianna, to me. especially when it's not something and stupid that so many sixteen year old mothers do. =X no offense, they just TEND to do the dumbest stuff.

I'd just like to say that I completely agree with you about the name and also about the 16yr old mom thing... COMPLETELY.

1. You know, actually it does. I think it's cute. I like Olivia to begin with though too.

2. I would prn this name Uh-liv-ee-ahn-uh.

3. If anything, it makes me think of other 'anna' names like Julianna, Liliana etc but that's ok bc I like some of them too.

4. I don't like Olivianne for some reason, at all.

1- Yes, i quite like the sound of it pronounced but it looks really weird when i read it.

2- uh-livia mostly. But sometimes i say oh-livia.

3- It does just look like Olivia & Anna pushed together by accident.

4- Olivianne is worse, but Oliviana might not be.. ahhna ratehr than anna.

What about Olyviana teehhee.

I usually say it "Alivia." Olivianna/Olivianne's interesting, but I don't generally like "made up" names.
