How super popular is the name Madden right now? It means Little Dog in gaelic, which I really like and my husband is part Irish. Middle name would be Patrick.

Paired with Cordelia Mae (potential girl name) and brother Israel Jameson.

I love my doggies they are a big part of my family.

Madden is a very popular game, and to be honest the first thing I thought of was John Madden - I'd bet that almost everyone would associate it with him and the games.

Saint Maden was a monk in Armorique (Brittany) in the 6th century.

The name has the same roots as Breton name Madeg, and it is possibly a form of Welsh Madoc.

I really liked the nn Mad and went looking for non-Maddox names and found it. I like Maddox though...and Angelina Jolie....it was just getting too popular...of course...I don't have kids....so its a moot point lol

I agree with most of the people who posted about the video game Madden. I always see the commercial about it and a lot of guys I know are obsessed with the game so I personally don't like it. But I do love Cordelia :o)
