Just one of the things I'd like to say to my friend's sister, who has three daughters.

Big sister is Jayedyn. Which is self-explanatory. It's not unique if it still sounds the same, mom.

But then there are the beautiful new twins:

Shayla and Shaelyn.

I don't understand. You have two babies. You get to pick out two wonderful, special names, and you.... name them almost the same thing.

THEY ARE NOT A MATCHING SET.

I was raging about this very thing today, as I was going through photos of a set of twins. Similar names and they were wearing the same damn outfit in almost all of their photos. X(

Jayedeyn or wtf ever the first kid's name is sounds exactly like Shaelyn, which sounds EXACTLY like her twin's name. I agree with the OP - I have at least 50 names that I would love to name my kiddos, how could you just use three variations of the same name for three kids like this? I just...don't get it.

I went to school with twins called Taylor and Tyler. Their mother insisted on dressing them alike and cutting their hair alike. She made it impossible for us to tell them apart... so we stopped trying. Didn't matter which twin was standing in front of us, we'd call him "Hey, Taylor-or-Tyler!"

We were six. Don't blame us, blame their mom.
