What do you think of Charlotte with the nickname Lottie?
I just love lottie, i think it's so sweet!

Makes me think of Princess And The Frog.

I like it okay. I have passed over the name Charlotte before, afraid she'd be called Char. I like it a lot better than Char.

I like it.

The nicknames for Charlotte are very limited. Lottie, Char and Charlie are the only ones I can think of. Personally, I'm not really a big fan of Lottie, (and of course the first thing that comes to mind is the Princess and the frog) but I do like the name Charlotte.

I loooove Charlotte and the nickname Lottie is adorable! It actually reminds me of The Phantom of the Opera (Raoul mentions "Little Lottie" in reference to Christine I believe). Anyway yes I absolutely loove it!

I also completely love it and have Charlotte with a nickname of Lottie on my list. Also reminds me of Phantom of the Opera, which is a good thing.

Personally I really dislike it. I was very nearly a Charlotte/Lottie and I've always been grateful my parents didn't go with it. I don't mind Charlotte but I just don't like Lottie (or Charlie for that matter).

I think I used to dislike it, but now I kinda dig it. Maybe blame the Phantom.

It is the nn of a character in one of my favorite books, All Other Nights, so I'm inclined to love it! And it is SO MUCH better than Char as a nickname.

Well, it's my name, and I quite like it. No one ever used the nickname Lottie except when I lived in Germany, a few people called me "Lotte" which I find really pretty. But the way people would pronounce it in the US (basically Law-dee) never really appealed to me, so I'm glad no one used it. My family has always called me Charlie, which I like, and friends here and there have called me Char which isn't my favorite thing ever but I don't really mind it either...

People in the US would pronounce it Law-dee? I'm in the US and I've never heard it pronounced that way...

I like Lottie as a nn for Charlotte. I also like Lotte, which someone else mentioned.

I can't stand the name Charlotte, but Lottie is adorable! =D

I kind of like Charlotte. Lottie is all right- MUCH better than Char.

I LOVE Lottie. Charlotte is okay to me and I'd use it because to me Lottie is a nickname but I just adore Lottie.

The nickname Lottie always makes me think of Japanese confectionery company, Lotte (which I think is pronounced the same way), and their delicious Koala's March chocolate-filled biscuits which I grew up with! XD

i really dislike lottie. coming from german-speaking background it's kind of... aunt-ish and very hinterland to me.

charlotte is very cute though. :]

I think it's great, Charlotte is a nice name but so popular, but Lottie is a very forgotten nickname, I know a lot of Charlies but no Lotties.

I've always loved having the name Charlotte, but I never really liked any of the nicknames. Lottie, Charlie... they just aren't me. I've always been a Charlotte.
