Opinions please

Hi, my name is Cora and I'm due in March with a baby girl. The problem is that I am extremely picky when it comes to girls' names.

I don't want a trendy name so if I like a name and it's on the top 20 list I automatically toss it out. On the other hand I don't want a name that is "made up" or completely unheard of, and no names with 3 or more 'common' spellings. Like I said I'm picky.

I've worked with children for 10 years so I also have a lot of associations of names with specific children which also narrows the list. I also change my mind a lot. For the past 2 months I thought I had decided but now I'm not so sure. Please let me know which you like better:

Elise Teagan

or

Ivy Kate

Any input would be helpful. Hopefully I won't throw these both out and start from scratch again in a few weeks. Thanks!

Oh please go with Ivy Kate! It's not that I have anything against Elise Teagan, but Ivy has been my all time favorite girls name for a long time. I like it better than any other girls name. And Kate is really cute.

I think I'd like Ivy more if I could stop thinking about the fact that my neighbors growing up had a dog named Ivy ... A big white poofy thing (dunno what kind)

I like Elise Teagan (or as others have suggested, Teagan Elise) better than Ivy Kate- whenever I hear the name Ivy, I think of the plant.

Just a warning on Ivy. My grandmother is an Ivy and has Always hated it. She was named for an aunt who also, apparently loathed the name... Personally I don't mind it so much, it sounds quite dark and gothic, but your daughter might not like it if she has it.

How about the name, Alice Ivy? Or, Alice Ivory. I like Lilith too.
Karen is some what-out but I like it because it's strong. Daphne is interesting. I like Estella, Estelle or even Stella because they mean star. I think Gracie is sweet. Rebecca Renee is nice, I think. or Erica Ivy. or, Sara Pearl. Becky is nice too, I think.

Ivy is a beautiful name for a baby girl, not sure about Kate as a middle name tho. I also think Teagan is very cute, and I think Teagan Kate would be cute :)
