I like James. I used to like Patrick but a major, major asshole ruined Patrick for me forever. I think it flows nicely, but if you're using James I might go with a middle name that has some more oomph to it.

Very pleasant and respectable. Too 'tame' for some people, of course (including me), but I'd rather see that than a name that makes you go "what were they thinking?" And after all, with a last name like Acquaviva, he may appreciate having a classic, easy-to-spell-and-say first and middle.
