Chaplin is horrible for a girl (for a boy as well, but especially bad for a girl) and Haddow makes me think of Haddock, like the fish.

Ugh. How icky. Giving a *girl* a name whose only obvious nickname is *Chap*? And it's an ugly name anyway, doesn't sound like a first name at all. Some surnames transfer well to first-name status, but Chaplin isn't one of them, and what the heck is Haddow? Makes me think of haddock, the fish. Gosh, what a total failure--and from someone with a name as awesome as Ever!

Chaplin might be kind of okay for a boy. Haddow reminds me of Harlow (Nicole Ritchie's first daughter) and haddock, the fish.

I have always loved Ever's name. I could even dig Chaplin....she could always go by lin. Haddow is strange...I'd have to know where it came from (family name?)
