Other people lash out in this community when people suggest names that are "cutesy" or "popular". I understand you did not, and I apologize for that. It just irks me. I could understand with names like Ashley, or Brittany, or such like that. But if you name your kid something that you like, even if it is Brittany or Ashley, why should anyone interfere and say, "well, what if it's popular in 20 years?"
I had people tell me stuff like that when I was pregnant with my daughter, and she died. So she never got to experience "embarrassment" from a possibly "popular" name growing up.
