My best friend Kristina gave birth to fraternal twins on 8/9/10, a boy named Michael Charles and a girl named Melody Rose. I'm a huge fan of both names, especially since all the names are important to her. Michael is her father's name, Charles is her grandfather (mom's side), and Melody is based on the fact that Kristina has been singing since she could talk. I'm pretty sure Rose is a grandmother on either her or her fiance's side. Her fiance is John and his son is John Jr.

I like Michael Charles. Melody Rose isn't really my style but I like that she gave her a meaningful name other than just "Oh that's cute!"

I think both names are absolutely lovely. Great choices, and they're not SUPER matchy, even though they begin with the same letter. Lovely!
