My cousin had a little boy last month. His name:

Cael Cainnech [McC--]

That's a lot of Cs for one baby! And Cael is pronounced kale. I'm not sure how Cainnech is pronounced, but I think it's Irish.

WDYT?

That's really excessive.

I like the sound of Cael. Cael McC-- would sound nice, I think. It's a little over the top with the middle name, but then again, how often will he say his full name out loud?

I've never seen Cainnech either. Behindthename suggests it's a form of Coinneach, which gets Anglicized as Kenneth ( Behindthename (http://www.behindthename.com/name/coinneach) ).

Really now! That's a nice way of honoring him, then. I like it!

I'm pretty sure Coinneach is pronounced KIN-ik. But I would say that Cainnech would be pronounced KY-nik.

But yes, C overkill.
