I had this weird dream that I tell my fiancee that I wanna name our little girl Scott. I don't think I would ever do that and I'm not even pregnant. What do you guys think?

Im not a huge fan of the name Scott... but somehow it could be neat on a girl.

In my dream we both liked it but when I woke up I was like I must be crazy how in the world did that ever sound good to me for a girl?! I think a girl name Scott would be off the wall, she would just be crazy and extremely care free!!

I think it could be a very cute name on a curly haired little girl. Having said that- I would NEVER name any of my kids(boy or girl) Scott..lol

I have never met anyone named Scottie. There was a guy in one of my classes and we had nicknamed him Scottie 2 Hottie from WWE. I don't think I would use either.

I don't like Scott for a girl. My DH's name is Scott Elliott and I proposed we name our little girl Elliott (Ellie for short) and he hated it.
I had a dream when I was pregnant (after I found out I was having a girl) that we had a boy and named him Tyler Meow Mix!! LOL Crazy pregnancy dreams.

I like Ellie but not Elliott. and Tyler Meow Mix, I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything, I laughed so hard at that!!

Hmm nope, can't see it on a girl not even hypothetically considering all the other traditionally masculine names that have 'crossed over'.

The name itself I don't dislike it but it's not really one I like much either.

I would never name my daughter Scott... Then again, I have a very bad connection to the name, so maybe I'm biased. But I don't think so :-p

I have a connection to the name too but I haven't talked to him in forever but I would never name any of my children that just b/c if I did I would think about him.

Although these aren't fabulous names either "Scotland" or "Scott-Lynn" make in obviously feminine. I can't say I absolutely hate it though.

That's my last name and I am Scottish! I'd obviously never use it on a girl but it would be ok on a boy! Caledonia was what the Romans called Scotland so that might be ok on a girl (although I think it's horrible!).
