Newest name on my favorite names list:

Willa. I love it a lot. I like the combo Willa Austen, but I think it may sound to boy-ish. I also like Willa Iris.

What do you think? I think it's a pretty pretty/classy sounding.

i adore willa, its not in my top three or anything, but its on my long list. i definitely think willa sounds best with a girly middle name - elisabeth, katherine, etc. - although katherine is wierd since theres the whole willa cather thing. :)

I don't like Willa, it sounds like one of those really old 1800s names.

I love Willa. Between the two I'd go with Willa Iris :)

I love Willa! I wanted to use it for this baby, but it got shot down.
I also like Iris a lot, but not with Willa. I have a 'thing' about double vowel sounds.. it's awkward to go from 'uh' to 'i' in the same breath.

Maybe, but I find it more awkward to go from "willa" to "austen". Both middle names start with vowels

True, but I don't care for Austen at all, so I was trying to be kinda nice.. LOL Plus I figured that saying the same thing with both names would be slightly redundant.
But of the two, I definitely prefer Willa Iris. ;)

Willa is a character from a series of books I read as a preteen. I do like it. I wouldn't use it myself but I think it is very classy.
I enjoy the (possible) Jane Austen reference in Willa Austen
but I think Willa Iris sounds nicer.

I LOVE the name Willa, it's so classy--I think it's wonderful. I actually like it paired up with Iris.

Meryl Streep's daughter is named Mary Willa.

I like it a lot. But sometimes it makes me think of someone who has a lisp. I LOVE Willa Austen. Willa Iris sounds and looks weird. Too many different letters, I think.

Willa is pretty, I like it a lot more than Willow. I don't like it with Austen though. Willa Iris is cute.
