It only bothers me (and even then, bother is a bit too strong) when it's a really unique name that was posted like, the day before. Then I would just be like, "scroll and go back a page." But other than that, I think it's expected there's going to be a lot of repeats here.

I don't really mind when people repost names. There are some people who have been around for several years like me, and I recognize a few of them by their favorites. But even people who I've seen post often for years sometimes post names that I've not seen in their previous posts. And yeah, I agree with spicychilies about the tags thing. That makes it more excusable.

Yeah, I know sometimes last names can sound okay as male first names. . .but I have a hard time with Shirley. I know where you're coming with the Di, because I was the same way with Court being a nickname for Courtney. (It reminded me of a grassy field). I have a cousin named Dianna, and I remember when I was little, we would say it in a way that made it sound Die Anna. (Which I pointed out to my cousins wasn't nice, because Anna was my mom's name). I think I came to separate Di from Die as I got older, and then especially hearing about Princess Di. (Not that I'm saying anything about you, mind you).

I love the Anne character too :). and but of course, Anne with an E is much more distinguished. ("Spell it out A-N-N and it looks positively dreadful!")
