I'm amazed at how many peopled used the name Lynn.  "Rain" names also seem popular.

From these, girls ones I really like are Caleah, Makiah, Kiara, Adysen, Makenzy, Brenli & Mallory
Boys ones I really like are Harrison, Cody & Landon

Ones I really don't like are Garrett, Kohl (wtf? emo teenage parents? lol), Shaylee, Stormi, Kyalita Coyalita (i mean, come on!), Briseyda.

Opinions?

I think most of them are horrid. Escpecially Kyalita Coyalita. I think her parents hate her. A lot. Also Stormi June and Autumn Rain should hang out. My roommate randomly said that there ought to be a "Snowy May" too. They can be the best of friends.

Some of them are pretty - Lila Elizabeth, Bianca Rose, Margaret Pearl (though this is a little redundant, as Margaret MEANS Pearl), Sara Elizabeth, Mallory Leann, Karlie Faith (not a huge fan of the spelling Karlie, but it's not bad).

I don't at all like the name Kohl, but why is it emo?

OH! Lol okay! That makes more sense now!

Kohls is a department store also...which makes the me think the parents just loved to shop :)

ranger???

my guess is that 'kohl' is a misguided attempt to make 'cole' unique. either that, or they're big fans of the store.

Mackenzie Reighn
Kyalita Coyalita
Rainey Grace
Autumn Rain
Makenzy Gabryelle
Stormi June
Ranger Elijah

Jesus H. Christ... Are their parents all in junior high?
Could you imagine introducing yourself to a potential employer, "Hi, I'm Stormi." or "Hello, my name is Ranger."
I hope mommy and daddy enjoy the kewtness of their children's names when they're paying $200 a week for therapy.

I really think the problem is parents name BABIES and not FURTURE ADULTS. Some names are adorable on little kids, sure. The same name ain't gonna work on a 50 year old businessman.

Right, that way they have the option and they're not stuck being named Sunshine Goldiepants for the rest of their lives.

BTW, I'm a huge Charlotte/Charlie fan myself. :)

Yeah, exactly.
But, maybe if enough people keep doing it, in twenty years, people won't even blink after meeting someone named after a weather pattern or a random inanimate object.
Oh, I'm looking forward to the day...

THANK YOU
I have tried to make this point here before. Some people get it, some do not.

Lmao. I've officially changed my girl's name from Lillian Sadie to Autumn Rain (don't worry, I'm probably having a boy). I love Lila, but my daughter's name is Kyla and I'm really not into that kind of rhyming, matching scheme.

My last name is Storm, and honestly, how cool would the name Autumn Rain Storm be? I freakin love it. And I've never been a fan of Rain, much less Autumn, but it SO flows together.

I do hate Stormi though. And for boys, I really love Gavin (my best friend years ago was named Gavin, and he committed suicide, so that name has ALWAYS been special to me). Who the hell would name their kid Braxton? Or Xhalin? I do like Hayden.

Oh, so many names.

It flows in a very odd hippy 60's commune type of way. heh.
I know a Soleil & Rain, they had baby Skye. sun, rain, skye...blah!

Autumn Rain Storm sounds super cheesy and annoying. Imagine being 10 years old in class and having to live with that name.

It's not like she has to tell people her middle name is Rain. But now that you think it's annoying, maybe her first name should be Rain? That's cheesier and more irritating.

Braxton Severe, that's not a good middle name!

From: [identity profile] neroli.livejournal.com
I know, it reminds me of strong contractions (severe braxton hicks)

I wanted to throw up when I read that name.

I hate Lynn as a middle name! I had no idea it was so popular as a middle name until this year. Everyone seems to think it flows so nicely with many first names, but I think it ruins them. Lynn is quite nice on its own as a first name, but somehow it seems to uglify any first name it is attached to...whereas other "filler" middle names, e.g. Marie, Rose, etc. I think actually do make a good "filler" because they sound nice with so many first names. I just don't get Lynn.

I'm getting sick of redundant names. someone posted a list yesterday that had a Sienna Catherine on it and today there's a Margaret Pearl.

I love Lila Elizabeth. Actually, that's what my boyfriend and I are naming our new kitten! (Although he insists on spelling it Elisabeth.)

i hate fn/mns like Autumn Rain and Stormi June. I knew a Crystal Dawn once. Ick. And Shayde isn't that great either but at least she's not named Shaydey Cove or something.

Someone in the family just had a baby that they were going to name Briseyda. The parents are very young, and Latinos (which are the only ethnic variety I've seen use this name so far). Anyway they opted to name her Paris...which I think is tacky but not as bad as Briseyda.

Highly uneccesary:
Kyalita Coyalita
