I was watching TLC and a family had triplets, two girls and a boy:

Jayden
Journee (f)
Jerzee (f)

Puzzlingly, this was a couple in their late 30's or early 40's with three teenagers who, as I recall, had perfectly nice and normal names.

(Edited since apparently it's not clear: I don't mean the names are weird because they're an older couple, I mean they're weird because the older kids DIDN'T get creatively spelled, ridiculous names, but the new ones did. Total taste change!)

This is why I get tired of hearing people make snarky comments about what teenaged parents name their children. People in their 30s and 40s can and do give their kids names that are atrocious as well (and there are plenty of young parents who give their children perfectly nice names)!

I definitely didn't mean that it's weird because they're an older couple, I meant it's weird that their first three kids had very normal, plain, nice names, and the new babies got these weird, super trendy, creatively spelled names. I meant it was puzzling because it seems like their taste did a 180.

Oh, I absolutely didn't mean to imply that you yourself thought it was weird because they were older! I was just talking about people in general who complain about teenagers giving their kids stupid names. I should have been clearer, sorry!

Just checking, haha. I've definitely known teens to name their kids dumb things, but more often than not it's adults who make the bad choices!
