I'm not really fond of either of those names. But you asked for other German names which are nice so here goes:
Adelaide (meaning: Noble)
Gretchen (meaning: A Pearl)
Lorelei (meaning: Alluring, the name of a River Goddess)
Mathilda (meaning: battle maiden, strength)

Both are pretty bad.

And Provence isn't a name, but a region. Just because it might sound pretty doesn't make it a name - lots of words in French sound nice :/
