well back before i actually found out i was having a boy, these would have been my choices:
Noah Ryan Owen Dermott Maximus James Sebastian Jackson
buuuut strangely enough now that we ARE having a boy we aren't naming him any of those things.
My husband doesn't like the name Max at all and honestly it's probably my favorite boy name. He also doesn't like Sebastian. His brother is named Jack so i don't really want to use Jackson. Noah is still a top contender for me btu it doesn't feel RIGHT for this baby and Owen has become way too popular.
We've chosen a completely different name than any of these which is strange because it's not my most favorite name ever but it really seems to work for this baby...at least so far it does.
My husband really likes the name Simon but i just can't get my head around it for some reason so i guess i rejected a name he liked too. I'm still bitter about Max though, not gonna lie.
edited to add that my husband has sworn me to secrecy on the topic of our son's name and i'm not allowed to tell anyone. Typically i wouldn't apply that rule to a random LJ community but i have several mutual friends who are members here sooo i can't risk it for my husband's sake. Sigh lol
