I'm in this class where we were asked to pick 'new names' and well... I've always wanted to, just for the fact that my name doesn't sound all that catchy but anyway... Of course I had to take this to a new level and now I can't chose right, hah!

The name I am more than likely settling on is: Morgan Eve though I'm not sure if I want to use the spelling Muirgen Eve

Also, I like these other combos:

Rhiannon Eve, Rhiannon Esther

I'm really set on having a mythological name as a first name, preferably something strong sounding. Also, middle name doesn't have to be anything but have it start with an E (or if it has to HE).

Names that had made the list:

Morana*
Freya*
Ione
Ismene
Juno
Cora

*I really wanted to use!

Sooo.... what do you guys think? have got any suggestions for me or anything?

I would definitely spell it Morgan Eve. It's the most common way of spelling it, and not having to constantly tell people how to spell it will save you some time.

Morgan Eve. Muirgen doesn't look like it would be pronounced the same as Morgan to me.

I like Rhiannon better than Morgan. I actually love that name and would use it if I hadn't grown up with a Rhiannon. If you use Morgan, I'd recommend spelling it that way and not Muirgan. People will pronounce that Myur-gan and you'll constantly be correcting either pronunciation or spelling.

So you speak Spanish or is this a Spanish class?

I have a friend named Morgan and she like to use Morgana for screen names and other things.

Morgan is way way way way better than the other spelling.

I kind of like Juno, but I wonder if people associate it with the movie that came out a few years ago. It probably wont be an issue for the kid, but you might hear "like the movie?" when you introduce her, and that could get annoying. Anyway, I love that you could use June or Junie as a nickname, and the name is pretty cool on it's own too.

Morana bugs me because it just makes me think of 'moron', which is not what I would want a name to be associated with. :P

Morgana, on the other hand, I think is beautiful.

I think all of them are fine except for Juno, which just has too many silly teen girl associations for me. I would avoid odd spellings, like 'Muirgen' as I'm assuming you have to share these with the rest of the class, and no offense, but you'll just look like you're trying too hard.

I like like Cora, Ismene, and Ione(also Iona).

I don't like Morgan at all, but if using it, I'd definitely go with this spelling.
I kind of like Freya (because of the goddess; I don't really care for the sound) and Juno (though people might think of the movie instead and that's... not what I'd want to be associated with, haha).

Oh, I almost forgot Rhiannon. I definitely prefer Rhiannon over Morgan.

Morgana is one of my favorite names, so my vote would be on keeping Morgan (I also really like Eve, I think you're good where you are!) I also like Ione and Cora

My youngest daughter is called Morgan! Well, Morgan Joy to be exact :-) I love that name. And my eldest's middle name is Rhiannon! Funny huh?

Rhiannon is her middle name; her first name is Tegwyn, which is a Welsh name that means 'fair and beautiful'.
We have very similar tastes in girls' names: I too love Eve/Eva, and did consider it for as a middle name for Morgan :-)

I've never heard of Tegwyn before, that's beautiful!
