Surnames?

Does anybody know of a surname database similar to the many baby names ones? I've found a few, but all of the ones I've seen only allow you to browse the entire index of names, or to search for information on a particular name.

Ideally what I would like is one with a feature where you can search for a meaning, and all of the names with that meaning come up. Does something like that even exist?

THANK YOU!!! This is *exactly* what I've been looking for. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've seen this site before, but when I searched for something like it the other day it didn't come up.
