Suggest-a-name

My aunt is due at the end of August with a girl. She still hasn't chosen a name and doesn't have one she likes. Her husband and oldest son like the name Jasmine, nn Jazzie. Her younger son likes the name Sydney, and she is on the fence about the name Brooklyn (Which is the one I like the most). She doesn't want anything in the top 20. Last name starts with an S and is one syllable.
Her current children are:
Tyson (14)
Braxton (7)

Jasmine is my favorite from the group. I hate Brooklyn and Sydney is... ok.

She doesn't like Jasmine because she thinks it's better suited to an African-American or Hispanic baby.

Wut? Jasmine is Persian and it's a flower. I don't see how it's "suited" for an African-American baby nor a Hispanic? But ok.

That's her opinion not mine. I think it's fine for any ethnicity but it's not my favorite so I'm in no rush to talk her into it.

Honestly, I think that's more reason to use Jasmine, because it makes it more interesting to use. I mean, it's a beautiful real name, not like an ebonics one like Shaniqua (no offense to anyone).

None of those choices are my style at all, but I think Brooklyn is the most "current" of those 3 names. Sydney and Jasmine peaked 5+ years ago.
Even though she doesn't want top 20, it seems she likes pretty popular names, so I suggest:

Gabriella
Aubrey
Peyton
Julia

I HATE Jasmine (esp. Jazzie....yuck yuck yuck) and Brooklyn. Sydney is my favorite of the group and even that one I don't really care for.

Interesting that almost no-one actually suggested a name.

Of the three I like Brooklyn the least, Sydney first and Jazzie/Jasmine middle.
