Another mix-up of the same boys' names I'm always posting. ;)

Here's some background-- Liam is name we just love, possible short for Uilliam, possibly just on it's own. Our only issue with it is that it's gotten so popular and my husband and I (both sub teachers) keep meeting Liams we don't like. Patrick is my mother's youngest brother, who is deceased. Anthony is my favorite maternal uncle. Albert is my husband's first name. Edward is his middle name. Jeremiah is for my brother Jeremy, who died 17 mo. ago. My husband hasn't agreed yet, but that will be our future son's middle name. ;)

*SO*
Which do you like best?
Liam Jeremiah (maybe Uilliam Jeremiah, nickname Liam; William is not an option)

Edward Jeremiah (possible nickname Ward, probably just Edward; I like this because my husband goes by Ted, which is short for Edward, so it seems more like naming him for my husband than naming him Albert would be)

Patrick Jeremiah

Patrick Anthony Jeremiah

Anthony Patrick Jeremiah

Albert Edward IV (DNL, but willing to entertain it for my husband's sake)

I kinda get what your saying about Liam. I used to tutor a nonverbal six with autism named Liam Jack. He was sweet, but also a handful and quite stubborn. I don't think I'd use the name now.

I like:
Patrick Jeremiah
Patrick Anthony Jeremiah
Anthony Patrick Jeremiah

I'm fond of Edward because I had a grandpa who died early named Edward. What about the nickname Eddie? I get what you're saying about Liam. Popularity doesn't bother some people, but it does me, who grew up as Jennifer and was born in 1989. I was one of probably 8 Jennifer's in my class. I really didn't like it.

I'm not sure about Uilliam. I don't know. It looks pretty cool but I don't like the way it sounds, so to me, Uilliam and Liam would be out.

Otherwise I think Edward Jeremiah and Patrick Jeremiah sound nice. I'm not fond of Albert or Anthony.

Edward Jeremiah first and then Liam Jeremiah. I don't like Patrick or Albert at all.

Personally, I would go with Albert Edward IV. I'm not particularly fond of the combination either, but I would love the tradition of the name, especially because they're nice names! I also like Edward Jeremiah or Anthony Patrick Jeremiah. The one thing I think I picked up from my Jewish heritage (I'm only 1/4) is I don't think first names should be used to honor the dead.

Liam Jeremiah is nice. I also like Liam Patrick. Uilliam is okay, but if you are planning to call him Liam anyway, you are not going to avoid the popularity problem. Ward Jeremiah is also nice, and I would just name him Ward rather than Edward. I don't like Patrick or Anthony as first names.
