Gia's really pretty, and I'm kind of fond of month names as well, but Augustine is definitely a boy's name. I'm really not a fan of Edna.

I like Arthur and Peregrine, but not Gustav.

I think the "dn" sound is a bit heavy and awkward, but Edna isn't bad.

Gia - It's very dark and pretty.
Augustine - I like this a lot more for a boy.
November - It's alright. Not my style, but it's got a nice orange/brown color thing going on, and it's quirky and upbeat.

Peregrine - I used to think this was way over-the-top, but I do like it now. It's so dashing and adventurous.
Gustav - I like it. It's friendly.
Arthur - Nice. It's strong and smart. It's also a family name for me.

For some reason the name Edna always reminds me of the volcano Etna, and then of a forty year-old woman. I'm not a fan.

As for the other names, I think Gia is amazing. Augustine is not my style, but pretty nice, and I think November could work as a middle. I don't like Peregrine or Gustav at all, but Arthur is beautiful!

My grandma's name is Edna. She doesn't care for it and my grandpa never liked it at all so he's always added her middle name to it, making her Edna Jean. She only ended up with that name because she was first born and she wasn't a boy. Her father's name was Edward James. [/random story]

I've thought about it some, since it's a family name, but I really don't like it. Sorry.

I kind of like November, but Augustine definitely belongs on a boy, in my opinion, and Gia looks incomplete to me. It seems more like a nickname.

Peregrine is kind of cool. I don't care for Gustav or Arthur.

I almost like Edna in an old-fashioned, Enid-like kind of way. It always makes me think of Ms. Krabappel from "The Simpsons," though.

There's something I absolutely love about November. Peregrine, too. Augustine's nice, but I'd prefer it on a boy.

Edna is a name that wouldn't surprise me if it peaked in 1947. It's so old, and it doesn't sound like an old name that should come back around.

Gia, not bad, not really my style. Augustine is more masculine to me, I prefer Augusta or August for girls. I like November.

I just heard Peregrine on a girl and thought it was horrible, and turns out, it would be equally ridiculous on every gender. Gustav and Arthur are really not my style, either.

Edna is ok, but not my style. I love Gia. Augustine is ok, but I really dislike November.

Peregrine, Gustav and Arthur are all fine.

My first thought was her (http://mocoloco.com/art/archives/edna_mode_head_feb_05.jpg) and my next thought was her/him (http://www.smh.com.au/ffximage/2007/06/16/edna_narrowweb__300x419,0.jpg).

Gia is really the only one of your names that I like, sorry.

Edna is one of those names I just can't seem to like, but it's a perfectly decent name and would be kind of refreshing for this generation's babies.

Gia is pretty but the movie really ruins it, I think. Heroin addiction and AIDS are all that come to mind when I hear it.

Augustine is really nice. I think I like it better on a boy, but I've heard it on girls plenty. Augusta is sweet, too!

November would be cool as a middle name, maybe a bit odd a first name, but still do-able!

Peregrine and Arthur are two of my all time favorite boy names! :) I like that Peregrine means pilgrim/traveler, and the falcon thing and the LOTR character are both neat connotations! Arthur is very strong, regal, and historical. Love it!

Gustav isn't a favorite of mine, but it's a fine name.

Gia and Augustine are nice. Arthur is a family name for me, but it reminds me of my dad's insane (as in clinically certified) cousin, so I probably wouldn't use it. Peregrine sounds like it belongs on a soap opera, and Edna is too old-ladyish for me. I prefer Enid.

Edna- I hate it. It's very "old lady" to me.
Gia- Haha, I was thinking about this name last week; I kind of like it.
Augustine- Prefer on boys. I kind of like August on girls though.
November- I don't like it.

Peregrine- I like it on fictional characters.
Gustav- I don't like it.
Arthur- I used to hate it, but its been growing on me.

I like Arthur. It's very strong and timeless.

Augustine I don't mind. It feels very old to me, though, so I'd need to come up with a good nick-name for when the kid was young.

I think I like November, but I'm not sure. People have been naming kids after months for ages, so that's hardly anything people could criticize you for. I associate "November" with elegance and... science? I would expect a girl named November to work in some kind of science. I don't know why. Those aren't really bad connotations, though. There aren't any good nick-names for it that come to mind right away, but that's not the end of the world.

Peregrine and Gia, I don't care for. I can't quite put my finger on why.

Gustav is fine, but I wouldn't recommend it for an American.

Can't say I'm a fan of Edna. At all. I just... can't see anything about it to like. With the possible exception of a little girl nicknamed Eddie, which is kind of cute, but surely Edwina or something would work for that.

I like November, Augustine, and Peregrine in a guilty-pleasure kind of way.
