A couple local businesses have announced births on their signs by the road this week, three children in all: Lydia, and twins Celine and Ashley (boy).

As well, I started a new job, and one of my co-workers is Charity. Her younger sister's name is Harmony.

I like Lydia. I don't care for Celine, but I think it's great to see Ashley on a boy!

I don't like Charity or Harmony vey much by themselves or as a sibset, but it could be worse.

I know Ashley is a unisex name but I still think it's a bit weird haha. Getting used to it though :) Love Celine.

I love Lydia. That's my grandma's name. And Ashley for a boy makes me think of Gone with the Wind.

I've been a fan of Lydia for a while. Celine isn't bad, though it does make me think of Dion. I have respect for people who name their sons Ashley; it's almost like a reclaiming of the name or something. Though I do wonder how his peers will react. Charity I'm fairly used to now as. . .what are they called, virtue names? I first heard it in a Hardy Boys book :). But, when virtue names are used together (as in more than one per family). . .I don't know. It just sticks out to me.

I think Ashley is a little tough for a boy to carry at this point, but it could work well if it suits him and he's up to it.

I like the name Harmony not so much as a name, but because it's the name of a close friend. Charity isn't my favorite virtue name, but it's okay.
