[identity profile] danne-gerous.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
So, I was reading a  post on Lamebook and featured in it was a photo of a young woman who had gotten her children's names tattooed onto her back...

The names appear to be Mason Terell, Deja Dawn, and Isaiah Robert.

WDYT?

MTE. That's got to be the cheapest-looking (is that even a word?) tattoo I've ever ever seen.

that's two words. i really do think its marker. look at the e and 2nd a in deja dawn. why would you use two colors there. i really really hope that's marker. looks like scrabble.

LOL, let's hope it's just marker.

First, I have to give you credit for being able to read it.

Secondly, Deja Dawn makes me think of "Deja vu", and Terell makes me think of a basketball player. I'm becoming more used to Mason as a name (the first time I heard it, all I could think of was mason jars, LOL!) Not sure what I think of Mason Terell. It's not horrible. I'm not huge on Isaiah, but Isaiah Robert isn't bad.

i think of Mason from a soap opera that was on in the 80's. idk which one. my babysitter always had it on.

I think it was Santa Barbara. My sister used to watch it.

I'm surprised you were able to read it as well. None of those names are particularly my style.

I got Mason Terrell and Deja Dawn (barf), but could ~not~ figure out Isaiah Robert. This is probably the worst tattoo I've ever seen. :(

i love that adam icon, i shoulda snagged it when i found it on good_ai_icons. it's always been one of my faves but a friend of mine has it so i didn't want her to think i was ~copying..

oh i guess i should say something about the actual post, huh? lol. if this tattoo is real, it's very unfortunate and done terribly! but i do like Mason as a name, i just think it's become waaaay too popular lately!!

I get a ~lot~ of use out of that particular icon. :D I love it, too. You can snag it if you want. Just credit [livejournal.com profile] houdini_splicer.

I don't really mind the names. I wouldn't pick them but I don't completely hate them. The tattoo however...

Isaiah Robert is actually a pretty good name, I think. Mason isn't awful, though I don't care for Terell. Deja Dawn is pretty bad.

Haha, yes, I was hoping this would end up here. Deja Dawn is the worst one, by far. Mason Terell and Isaiah Robert aren't names I would use, but I think they're fine. The tattoo just makes them ugly.
