Also Jacklynn just seems very HARSH. Jacqueline sounds a bit softer, I don't know how to explain it exactly, but I think you DO prn the "que" differently than a "ck". To me, Jacklynn is 2 syllables, and Jacqueline is more of 3... Jac-kuh-lin, sorta.

and i like the spelling, but then again my name is Madelynne. i've always found the spelling of my name helps people pronounce it correctly instead of calling me "Mad -uh-line" like the girl in the books.
Yeah I could see the confusion with Mad-uh-line and Mad-uh-lynn, definitely. If the 2 syllables is what they like, then that's cool, but I prefer the 3 for Jacqueline.
