A task for all you awesome name finders
Ok... As I've posted several times before, my top 3 names for girls are Caeslin Amari, Ainsley Brynn and Zoe Laine. A few people like these names, a few dont. That's not the question anyway=)
If you would, help me find some "less trendy/made up/popular-in-a-round-about-way" names I would love it.
Here's the criteria:
I generally don't like names in the top 100 (I know Zoe may be an exception). I don't like old sounding names (Vivian, Evelyn, Josephine, Grace). I tend to lean toward Gaelic names but am willing to move away from that.
The boy's names I love have also been split decisions for the community: Elijah Malachi (Which breaks my no top 100 preference again, but I love Elijah way too much to care) and Tidus Aaron (which I've been told looks made up, although it stems from the Biblical name Titus and we're just trying to keep our child from being called Tit-us every day of his junior high life). My new obsession (as of today) is Dathan, but I doubt I'll be able to convince my husband that it's a name worth considering.
Happy suggesting! (Please and thank you!--- also.. my apologies for all those stinkin parentheses.. I got a little side-note happy *grin*)

Okay, so some of these may be Top 100, Old sounding, Trendy, etc. They were just random names I chose *shrug*. Don't worry about offending me, they aren't my favourites or anything. =)

RHIANNON
Gender: Feminine
Usage: Welsh, Welsh Mythology
Pronounced: hri-AN-ahn (Welsh), ree-AN-un (English), REE-an-un (English) [key]
Derived from Old Celtic Rigantona meaning "great queen". In Welsh mythology Rhiannon was the goddess of fertility and the moon. This name is also borne by a princess in Welsh legends, the wife of Pwyll.

Dathan looks like a typo of Nathan. I actually like Titus a lot, but yes Tit-us could be a problem..
anyway as you said you didnt ask for comments!
Cicely Alana/Alara
Calista Amelia
Aisleyne Brynn (Ash-Leen. i like brynn! & the gaelic thing is still there.. Aisling makes it Ash-lin but i've seen it Aislin/Aislyn also.)

I agree on the Dathan thing, too. Actually, I saw the name posted first here yesterday. I'd never even thought about/seen it before then. My husband doesnt like it, I checked with him last night.. so there's no worries there *grin*
Do you think Tidus is a good option to still get the sound "Titus" with a little less teasing?
LOVE Cicely. Have a cousin named it, though=\ Love Calista.
Ainsley is actually further down the list than one might think. It was around 440 for last year. It just sounds trendy because of the -ley part, I think.

Ainsley sounds really popular, though I don't know where it technically ranks. I like the name Dathan. I knew a Dathan in high school. He was very dashing. Student body president. Etc. Then I fell for his younger brother instead. Haha. Anyway, Dathan=good name in my book.

I like Delilah, Keelin, and Reese, but the only Reese I've ever actually known was a boy (besides knowing "of" Reese Witherspoon).
