(no subject)

I just posted yesterday but IMO these are so atrocious I had to share...

Twin girls, age 14:
Regan Giffin
Gannon (middle name unknown, but I can only imagine)

Also, are there any other names you would use Ben as a nickname for? I am in love with Ben, but not sold on Benjamin. Thanks!

I actually like Gannon, but on a boy. Bennett comes to mind.

Wow. I love when people are like "Look how much we wanted a boy!"

Agreed with all the Bennett comments.

i have a friend named Benny. That's his real name. His best friends is Danny. His daughter is Angie. I always thought it was weird that they all had nicknames for first names.

I have a friend who feels very strongly that if you're going to use a nickname predominantly anyways, you should have just named the child that in the first place and skipped the middle man.

Benaiah

And even though I wouldn't do it (and didn't... my son is Benjamin nn Ben), Ben could be a name on its own since it just means "son" in Hebrew.

Gannon makes me think of Ganondorf.

Coben is a possibility
I'm the other way around, I love Benjamin, but I'm not keen on Ben or Benji.

Gannon just makes me think of Gammon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ham)

I've heard Ben as short for Ebenezer... not that I'm recommending that...

Regan is okay, but Gannon? On a *girl*? Yikes.
