another new one seen..

A guy I went to high school with (so, he's about 25 or 26) and his girlfriend just had a baby boy. The name as seen on Facebook:

Hazen Joseph M_____

His name is Joe, so I understand the middle name. But Hazen? I don't know. Definitely not my style.

Oh and according to his sister, it is pronounced like raisin...

lol. he'll get sick of telling people "like raisin"
there is also a town near me named Hazen.
ooo. Haze is kinda a cool name.

I love the name Joe/Joseph.

Hazen...is really ugly. Also...Hazen is very close to 'hazing' =\
It's also the Dutch word for "hare" (plural) which doesn't help its appeal...yet not as bad as the 'hazing' connotation.

Not that I think it's an acceptable name in the least bit, but Hazen would have struck as more of a girl's name than a boy's. Maybe like Hazel.

Or Haven.

Hazen?

Wonder how long it will be until a baby Brazen appears...

Hazen is a road near here. It makes me think of "hazin'" (as in hazing), which is no good. Hazel or Haven would've been better.

I don't like it at all.

I knew an elderly married couple named Hazel and Hazen. I don't hate it.
