I was just watching something on TV about pregnant women going through harrowing situations or something like that.  One woman gave birth to a healthy little girl a few months after being hit by a car.  The baby's name was Imagine Little Bear Katherine.  (I'm guessing on the spelling).  Interesting.

I hope you just misheard them saying Imogen. But that doesn't excuse the Little Bear part. Maybe they're Native American. We shall pretend, and it shall then be okay.

The way the dad said the name, it was exactly like the word imagine. The Little Bear is because apparently there was a bear that was going to attack her, but instead she got hit by a car... something like that. And they were dressed as hippies, so that may explain a lot lol.

Wasn't that the lady who got hit by a car after being chased through the woods by a bear? If I remember correctly, that's where the "Little Bear" came from. That doesn't make it any less of a stupid middle name, but at least there's a reason behind it...? :P

Lol @ I'm guessing on the spelling. I love the suggestions others made and think the name would be great for a fictional character. For a future adult here in the real worl, not so much. Is this better or worse than Fifi Trixibelle?

I remember seeing that show too! If I were that woman, I don't think I'd want to name ANYTHING after a bear after what happened to her! Maybe name the kid after one of the doctors/nurses/someone who helped her recover after being hit by the car- that's what I'd do

The lady got a lot of flack for being pregnant and hiking alone or whatever, and I think they killed the bear or something so a lot of people were mad at her for that so I think she felt kind of guilted into the middle name. Doesn't make up for Imagine, but, still.

Oh, man. This makes me think about how twisted my husband's grandma has always been about his name (Silver) -- she always asks my in-laws, "Why didn't you just name him Bear or something?"
