That's a really nice article, thanks for sharing!

Professors reported children with "black-sounding" names such as Lakisha and Jamal are 50 percent less likely to receive a call back for a job interview compared to "white-sounding" names such as Emily or Greg.

Call me naive, but I'd think that job interviewers would place more weight on a person's resume than on their name.

Having said that, I'd also much rather be called Lakisha than a horribly messed up "creative" name such as Madysynne!
I understand that parents want to be creative - I'd want that too. But misspelling isn't that creative, in my opinion.
