Just checking out a local tattoo shop and the piercer suggested I check out her facebook for her portfolio, and when I did, I noticed she has two young kids:

Braunwyn and Wylde

I'm torn on Wylde, but Braunwyn just seems to kre8tiv for me. Thoughts?

Braunwyn (looks) like a terrible mixing of language roots. Bronwyn would be better.

One of my guilty pleasures is Wilder...but I don't like Wylde. The "y" bothers me. Wilde would be better.

Braunwyn seems like an old traditional Gaelic name...spelled really badly.

I think the traditional spelling of Bronwyn is better - seems like the parents spelled the named phonetically. And is it supposed to sound like Wilde (like Oscar) or Wild?

Wait, what? Oscar Wilde's surname is pronounced exactly the same as the word "wild" — to the best of my knowledge.

I don't like either, but they would be better if they were spelled differently.

Bronwen/Bronwyn is SO pretty, but this spelling is atrocious. I don't actually hate Wylde.

i like Braunwyn better spelled Bronwyn or even Bronwynn which i think is closer to how it's spelled in Wales (it's a welsh name, you can always tell when there are "w"s and "y"s next to each other like that lol)

Wylde, however, i think she just made up. I don't understand naming your kid that...it's an adjective that's misspelled.
