So, after reading the topic of siblings names being too similar or not similar enough, I thought I would get your opinion on my family.

Twins:
Lauren Rose (nn: Elsie but not by family) (me)
Anthony Philip (nn: Tony)

Parents:
Oscar Luis
Rebecca Mae

Rebecca's Siblings:
Philip Alan
Gregory Michael
Cathie Louise

Oscar's Siblings: (I don't know any of their middle names)
Maria
Rosa
Veronica
Freddy (I don't know what my uncle's full name is)
Francisco (used to go by Paco, now goes by Frank)
J.R. (JR is named after my grandfather, but I forget how to spell it. It is pronounced Nar-see-so. They call him JR instead of  "Junior")

I like Lauren Rose/Elsie, Anthony Philip, Mae, Philip Alan and Rosa, and also both Paco and Frank.

good guess! It'd actually Narciso if you got with 100% hispanic spelling.

We used to call my brother J.R. but not Jay-Ar it's Ho-tuh Erray for us... basically just using the hispanic pronunciation for the letters J and R.

i've always loved your name - Lauren! i have to ask, though, because i'm always interested to hear about nicknames... where did the nickname Elsie come from? Is that a nickname for Lauren that I was just unaware of? :) Just curious :D

My last name starts with a "C" and we had two Lauren's st my old job. One of my co-workers started writing "LC" but my friend thought it was too much like the girl from the Hills. So she started spelling it Elsie. It just stuck. ;)
