What do you guys think of the name Theresa?

side note: I love the name Tess as well but I'm kinda liking it as a nickname for theresa also/instead of as just its own name.

It's a nice name, but it sounds kind of old to me.

It's nice, but I prefer Tessa as a long form of Tess.

I prefer the Teresa spelling than Theresa but it's a nice name either way and Tess or Tessa work well as nicknames.

I like it. All the Theresas I've known have been great. I think it works on older adults, middle ages, and young kids too.

I don't like Tess/Tessa as much, but could see it being cute depending on the girls personality.

It's not bad, but NMS. I like Tess and Tessa though. I named my dog Tessa. :P

I don't like Theresa/Tessa/Tess; it just...doesn't sound very nice to me. =/

I like Tessa and Tess, but I don't love Theresa. I do like the Teresa spelling better though, along with the Spanish pronuncation. Teh-REH-sah as opposed to Tuh-REE-suh.

I've always thought Theresa/Teresa has a lovely sound and a great history. You can do a lot worse than give your child Mother Theresa as a role model, and Tess makes an adorable and unusually well-aging nickname.

I don't love it by itself but I prefer it as a full name for Tess (which I love).
