As someone who works with animals, I really cannot understand giving a pet a full name. That's up to you, though, and he certainly is cute!

I work with animals, and my pets have full names. I don't see what's wrong with it.

I give my kitties long names, but only call them by short two-or-three syllable names.

Karly Emerson Sweetbrook, is just "Karly," or any random mixup of the name. Emmers, Kar/Car, Karly-Brook, or "Moo," cause she's a fat beast. lol.

Penelope Lou, is just "Nelope."

Sarah Mackenzie, is just "Kenzie." Or sometimes "Max."
