Elowin (g) - Is this pronounced Ello-win? I sort of like it, I think.
Alatha (g) - Do not like.
Rankin (g) - Do not like.

I am suprised to say, I actually think I like Elowin... Anybody know anything about the name? Is it a legitimate name, meaning, origin etc,..?

I know a young girl named Ellawyn.

"Wyn" means white, fair, or blessed in Welsh.
"Win" is Old English for friend.

I don't know if it's legitimate or not, but it's got a beautiful sound.

I'm assuming Elowin is a variant of Elowen; which Cornish and means elm tree. It's a very uncommon name, but not completely unheard of.

elowin is pretty, and I like althea, which is kind of close to that other one.

Elowin has a pretty sound to it. I sort of like it, too!

Alatha is meh, but at least it sounds more feminine than Rankin! Rankin sounds like some movie monster-villain, NOT a little girl! What will her nickname be? Rank? Poor child.
