my name taste has changed!
May. 5th, 2010 10:23 amWe do that top five thing every month, and it doesn't seem like my tastes change at all. I was looking back at old baby_names favorite names statistics posts I did (for when I post the new ones), and I found all of my old top fives posts. This is the fifth time I've done this over the years. If you remember posting in these posts before, and you're interesting in looking at how your tastes have changed, the old dates were:
10/10/2007
3/4/2008
9/08/2008
7/25/2009
4/29/2010
Gosh I've been in this community for awhile. Anyways, I thought some people would be interested to see how my tops have changed.
10/10/2007 >> 3/4/2008 >> 9/8/2008 >> 7/25/2009 >> 4/29/2010
Catherine >> Catherine >> Catherine >> Felicity >> Kasia
Juliet Juliet Juliet Juliet Juliet
Leah Anna Ivy Eve Eve
Eleanor Miriam Elizabeth Elizabeth Tamsin
Charlotte Charlotte Jane May Margaret
Oliver >> Oliver >> Oliver >> Morgan >> Garrett
Jonah Jonas Calvin Calvin Louis
Asher Max Thomas Samuel Samuel
Gabriel Gabriel Gabriel Alexander Alexander
Arthur Nicholas Miles Ezra Miles
For girls, Catherine made it awhile, but it recently gave way to Kasia. Juliet is the only constant...I really like all of the names on the list, though. I still love Felicity but I can't really see myself using it.
For boys, Oliver was consistently my favorite for about a decade but around July last year it fell completely off. Its working its way back up, but definitely not in the top 5 now. Jonah I don't like at all anymore, and I still love Jonas but too much Jonas brothers association. I didn't even notice Gabriel falling off, I still like it...maybe as much as Miles. Garrett came out of nowhere, I'm wondering if that is just a phase. A lot of the names have been relegated to middle names, like Calvin, Gabriel, and Nicholas. I think Thomas is my 6th favorite boys name now.
