These are my name choices:
for a girl-Brinley,Amberly,Cassidy,Brielle,and Taryn.
for a boy-Evan
I just can't think of any middle names.
What does everyone think about the name Amberly? I heard it about 7 yrs. ago and I've just always liked it. It's hard to fine a name that goes with "shepherd"!!!

I'm not a fan of Amberly, but I think Cassidy Shepherd sounds great! Brielle is also pretty. I personally hate the name Taryn, it sounds like one of those dumb blonde cheerleader names, and I don't really like Brinley either. I do think that 3 syllable names sound best with the last name Shepherd though...

I really don't like Brinley in general, but with your last name, yeah, I kind of do. It would definitely grow on me if a friend or relative named their kid Brinley. However, I have trouble imagining an adult name Brinley. I guess by the time a lot of kids born now get to be adults, everyone is going to *have* to get used to all the different "non-adult" sounding names, though.

like everyone else, I think Cassidy Shepherd is wonderful. Best one up there.

Evan is a good boys name. Middle names...hmm. Evan Michael. Evan Lowell. Evan Bradley. I can't think of anything stellar at the moment. Do you have any cool family names?

That's a really good point! I keep forgetting my baby will grow up! We dont' really have any cool names. His dad's name is Champ *ick*...But I don't think I'm going to name him after his dad.

I think Taryn Cassidy would be a nice combo.

I had 2 girls in a fourth grade class this year named Taryn and Amberly. They were both absolute sweethearts so I am hooked on both of those names. I used to think Amberly was too trendy and cutesy for me, but after meeting this one, it suited her perfectly. She even said she was almost a "Haley" because her mom couldn't decide.

I've been a preschool teacher for 5 yrs and only met 2 Evans so I'm not worried about it,I think that boys should have a more traditional name. What are your baby names?

I am not a fan of Brinley and Amberly, but since you are looking for middle names might I suggest "Brynn Lee" and/or "Amber Lee" ?

And I usually stick firm that "Leigh" is pronounced "Lay", but I still have to suggest it here because it would look nice with both (Brynn Leigh, Amber Leigh), and you could get the same sounds.

I like Cassidy, and Taryn (I have a cousin named Taryn, actually!). I have no opinion on Brielle.

I have a cousin named Amberly, and she goes by Amber now that she is an adult. She didn't like being the "fancy" form of Amber.

I like Taryn and Cassidy best! Even though it is a popular choice for a middle name, I like Taryn Elizabeth.

Brinley - it's okay. pretty trendy, but not horrible.
Amberly - hate it. i don't like amber and adding a -ly doesn't make it any better for me.
Cassidy - pretty dated, but it's okay.
Brielle - i hate this name.
Taryn - okay, nms but def not bad.

shepherd is such a great, perfect name to find a first for (just my opinion) - its so normal and not rhymey!

i dont like amberly, it sounds made up. cassidy is okay, and i kind of like the name bryn, but dont like brinley. evan is nice too.
