We are expecting our first in December, and we're pretty much set on Rylee as a name for a girl, but what about a middle name? Could use all the suggestions we can get. For reference, last name is King.

So..

Rylee _________ King

Whatcha think?

Rylee is really NMS (both the name and the spelling) but I think if I were going to use that name, I would pick a middle name with a more classic, traditional feel. It kind of tones down the trendiness. So maybe:

Rylee Josephine
Rylee Madeleine
Rylee Margaret
Rylee Abigail
Rylee Caroline
Rylee Catherine
Rylee Miranda
Rylee Sarah

etc. :)

I think it also sounds spunky paired with something one syllable, like:

Rylee June
Rylee Claire

I think Riley could be cute on a girl (but I would spell it correctly) and I would likely pair it with a pretty feminine middle name so that she would have a choice to go by a more traditionally feminine name if she chose to later in life.

some ideas:
Charlotte
Jane
Alexandra
Violet
Claire
Norah
Victoria
Lavender

My cousin's little girl is named Rylee (spelled different tho) and she and her husband argued about the middle name up until after she was born. Mom wanted Paige, dad wanted Claire. Mom won. I like Claire better though. Suggestions:

Also, I'd watch out for rhyme-iness, like names that end in -lee sounds or sound too much like King.

Well, I love the name Rylee. To me, it doesnt go along with something too big. But that may just be... european style? Rylee Mae, Fay or something would be my choice :)

Rylee is super-trendy both in sound and in randomness of spelling. I'd pair it with something as traditional as possible, just in case baby girl leans more toward the traditional side than her first name might suggest. Something to fall back on, you know?

Ewww. Everyone is telling you to have a fall back middle name. That means start over with the first IMO.
