It's very celebrity, but I really like it. Anyone named after literature or an author is good in my book.

I usually don't like last names as first names, but this is not so bad.

Tennyson Spencer is very pretentious sounding, but has lots of nickname possibilities. Tenny? Ten? It's not bad.

I think it's better than using Tennyson's first name, Alfred ;)

I like to add S to the end of a shortened name for a nn (Mars for Marielle, for example). I'd probably call him "Tens."

I'd like it a lot better if it was spelled Tennison. But even then, it just makes me think "son of tennis." Not my style at all.

I like Spencer as the middle name only because it's his wife's last name/maiden name. In general, I don't like the name, but I like how it has meaning to them, it worked well.
