I have a son named Brayden. yes, one of the infamous 'den' names. Out of all of them though, I do like Brayden the best and it was like the only thing me and the SO could agree on.

now, we had a pregnancy scare recently and we both realised we LOVE the name Harrison if its another boy.. (we're not pregnant, though) and I was wondering if Brayden and Harrison sound really weird together as a sibset or if we could get away with it? we have no idea for girl names other than the fact that I love things like Lily, Lucy, etc.

oh btw, Braydens full name is Brayden Ryan Gough-Jopek. the Gough will be dropped if me and his father ever get married.

this girl I knew when I was pregnant ended up faking an entire pregnancy and birth, and her "baby" was brayden ryan roberts" so that's probably why the name leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

She faked a pregnancy and birth?!

I want a kid (and fairly soon) but that's too much.

I think they sound fine together. Harrison will always remind me of the tv show, Popular, which is not a bad thing. I think it's a cute name.

I think Brayden and Harrison sound pretty funny together. One is super trendy and the other to me, seems really old and I freakin' hate the nn Harry.

I actually think Brayden and Harrison are both really trendy. They seem like they fit into the same category to me. Hmm.

Agreed. Brayden for the aidan trend and Harrison for the "last names as first names" trend.

Yeah — Harrison also sounds trendy to me.

They're both quite trendy here in Australia, so sound fine to me...

I think Brayden and Harrison go just fine together as a sib set. :)

I think they sound good as a sibset, actually. Harrison makes Brayden sound a little less fluffy, and Brayden makes Harrison sound a little less stuffy.

I think they sound fine together! :) I sort of like Harrison, and I'm not a big fan of Brayden, but they're both names, and spelled normally, so. :)

I love them together. Not necessarily a fan of Brayden, but I think it sounds nice with Harrison.

Harrison is what my hubs and I are planning to name our child if it's a boy :) I find out Friday!

I think they sound fine together. I saw that you posted about not liking the nickname Harry and that your SO is a history buff and it made me think--what about the name Hayes? Or you could possibly get away with Hayes as a nickname.

They go well together, in my opinion. Lucy would be cute for a girl!

I don't particularly care for them as a sibset, but if it's what you love and can agree on, go for it. There are worse things than a mismatched set of names and most people here seem to think they go fine anyway. Oh, and I really like the name Harrison.

This is hard because Brayden is one of my least favorite names and I really love Harrison. Although I do agree that Harrison would tone down the trendiness of Brayden. I also love the name Harris which would make a nice nickname. In conclusion I think they would sound fine together.

Brayden is trendy and pop[ular, and I think Harrison is on its way to trendy and popular, so I think that stylistically, they fit, but also, I just think they sound good together. I like it.

Brayden was my first favourite -ayden names I still like the sound of it. My preferred spelling was Braeden, but I dropped it from my list when it got too popular.

I like them together. I knew a Harrison growing up - he was always Harrison, no nn - and he was a great guy. I love that name.

Braden and Caden are my favorites of the 'Aden' names. ^_^

I think they sound fine together. I LOVE Harrison.

The Aidan names aren't all bad, they are just way to trendy for my liking. I actually like Aidan and Caden is a GP of mine.

I love Harrison. In all honesty, I don't think it goes at all with Brayden, but if you love the name, it probably shouldn't matter.
