I was browsing someone's myspace when I came across the name of their new baby daughter. Her name was Millicent Londyn. Thoughts? I really dislike the spelling of London.

I was thinking the same thing about millipeads.

I coached a little girls baseball team this spring and there was a girl named Amelia, her parents called her 'mela' (mee-lah) though. That's always an option...

Didn't you know that any word can be a girl's name if you add a Y in there somewhere???

I like Millicent. But I dislike London as a name and I really hate that spelling. Ugh.

Millicent is a real name, at least. I remember it from a story book I read when I was a kid. but she was the spoiled whint brat, so that's what I think when I see the name (this being the first time since that book)

yuck on londyn.

I like Millicent, it's right up my ally as being feminine and old fashioned sounding, but it's not my favorite by a long shot. Londyn is stupid, it's a dumb way to spell it, it's a place name, and its super trendy looking to be matched with Millicent. In all I'd give it a thumbs down.

Millicent is pretty nice. She could be Millie as a little girl, which is quite sweet and she has a perfectly legit name to grow up with. Londyn is awful. London would practically be just as bad, though.

I'm not big on London period, misspelled it's even worse. I personally wouldn't use Millicent, but It's not terrible. I much prefer just Milly or Millie, though.
