Apparently Gaetane is Italian. Which makes sense, because I've seen a guy named Gaetano before. I don't really like it, though.

I knew a boy growing up called Mahlon. All the teachers prn it 'Mar-lon' (like the fish) but he prn it "Mahn" - one syllable, as if the middle letters were all silent. I figured it was Irish or something becuase he also had a brother, Patrick, and a sister Aiofe.
