SSA Lists

Okay, so I spent some time at the SSA site today (http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/) and I saved all of the popularity pages, etc.

So, if anyone wants these pages and I can save you the work, I would love to give them to you!


This is what I have, 4 separate ZIP files, waiting to be sent. They're all HTML (just the HTML, no messy folders that come with pages when you save them) pages, and show up fine in any browser (well, the two that I have, Firefox and IE). They are viewable when not connected to the internet.

You can check them out at the URL above if you're not familiar with them.


- All of the pages from 1880-2005 with the top 1000 names per year including the percentages involved with each name.

- All of the pages from 1880-2005 with the top 1000 names per year including the number of babies named each name.

- All of the pages from from 1980-2005 with the top 5 names per state per year including the names' ranks and numbers.

- All of the pages from 1880s to the 2000s with the top 1000 names for that decade including the names' ranks, percentages and numbers.
