a friend mentioned that someone she knew just had a baby boy and named him quincy arthur. we all thought it was an awful boy name, but maybe not so bad for a girl. i've always liked quinn for a girl and quincy is a good name to use quinn with for short.

I dunno, John Quincy Adams was a man. But it wasn't his first name. And other older names like Leslie and Ashley used to be used with men but are mostly for women now. Hmm I don't really know where I'm going with this.

At least it's not Quyncy or something haha.

Quincy's very masculine to me. I love Quinn for a girl, too, and I think it stands fine as a name on its own.
