(no subject)

Which of these combinations do you prefer?

Anne Alysce
Anna Lise

ETA: I was trying to think of a name that sort of referenced important women in my life: My grandmother's name is Alysce (born 1940), my mom is Dawnalysce and my mother-in-law is Lisa. I didn't realize Anneliese was a legit name but now it's at the top of my list. Thanks everyone!

Both sound like the name Anneliese, and I prefer that spelling compared to the other two.

I'm not good with random middles...I think middle names are a good place for personal meaning, family names, etc. Since Anneliese is longer and more flowery, I think a more simple middle name would be best, unless the last name is really short/one syllable.

IAWTC.

I think a 1 or 2 syllable middle name would fit nicely, depends on the last name tho.

Anneliese Ruth
Anneliese Marie
Anneliese Lucille
Anneliese Lorraine

I know those are all kind of random, but they were the first ones to come to mind lol.

Totally agree with Anneliese!

As far as middle names go, for me it would depend on the last name as to how many syllables you can get away with so I'll throw out an assortment for ideas:

Anneliese Sophia
Anneliese Skye
Anneliese Josephine
Anneliese Jane
Anneliese Jude
Anneliese Rose
Anneliese Violet
Anneliese Morrow (sorry, I love Morrow)
Anneliese Claire
Anneliese Paige
Anneliese Genevieve
Anneliese Vivienne
Anneliese Lenore
Anneliese Victoire
Anneliese Victoria
Anneliese Winter
Anneliese Wren

Totally second Anneliese/Annelise. As for middle names...

Anneliese Kara
Anneliese Jane
Anneliese Cecilia
Anneliese Susan
Anneliese Patricia
Anneliese Bethany
Anneliese Clara
Anneliese Frances

I'd go with the actual name of Anneliese, rather than some cutesy version (like Emma Leigh instead of Emily).

Yep, Anneliese is a lovely name. :)

I agree with all the suggestions of Anneliese. :)

But of the two you asked about...Anna Lise, because I slightly prefer Anna to Anne.

I would just go with Anneliese.
Both Anne Alysce and Anna Lise look weird to me; I think Alysce is especially ugly. =/
