It's matchy, since both are plants, but it's not so matchy that it's ridiculous. If it were, say, Lavender and Violet, I would advise against the pair, but in this case it's nice. :)

I don't care for Taylor or April, and I think pairing a color with a noun is a Bad Idea (reminds me of "Purple Rain"), but otherwise both get a thumbs up. :)

Ivy Taylor is quite nice, but I don't like Violet April, maybe because of the adjective and noun thing other people have mentioned. But I actually like the amount of matchiness, and I think Ivy and Violet sound cute together.

I adore Ivy and Violet. I cannot give them enough love. I'm not huge fans of Taylor or April as names, but I am a huge fan of middle names with meaning, so that overrules it. Keep these wonderful names and don't let anyone talk you into changing them!
