Anna / Anne / Ann

Which one do you like more? Is there any reason for liking one more than the other?
Also, what middle names go well with either of those?
(I am trying to make up my mind... it has a sweet history in our family, my husband is so in love with the name, and so is everyone else - but not me, at least for now).

I like Anne. Anna seems like a different name to me, for some reason. Like, I'd never call an Anna "Annie" as a nickname. Ann just seems too short/truncated. The "e" on Anne makes it seem more elegant and complete to me.

PS I like the mention below of Annabel. Honor your family name but with a twist, and then you have Bell/Bella as an additional nickname. Plus Annabel is one of the pretty old-fashioned names that has a more current sound these days.
